1 Introduction
AISI h13 modified form toughness high strength high quality hot working die steel,
H13 is a hot work die steel, which is a steel grade formed by adding alloying elements to carbon steel.
HSSD H13 steel has good thermal stability and thermal fatigue resistance, replace the imported high quality senior hot die steel, for example: AISI H13, 1.2344 etc.

6 Characteristics
1). High resistance of tempering softening properties(the using temperature can improve 50ºC, than that of H13 steel)
2). Excellent thermal stability: heat preservation in the long time of 620ºC, the hardness is always higher than that of h13, and still maintain in 35 hrc above.
3). Excellent thermal fatigue resistance: the thermal fatigue resistance of sd h13mod is better than that of h13 steel.
4). Characteristic curve of tempering and cct curve.

7 Application
a.Full hardness (52-54HRC) plastic moulds with high polishing and long lifetime requirments, such as bakelite plastic mould.
b. Lead,Zn and Al alloy die casting moulds, such as engine radiater, lights and other decorative products
c.Aluminum extruded moulds, such as aluminum window frame, computer radiater.
d.Hot forging moulds, such as auto connecting rods, crank, stainless dinner knife.
e.Cu alloy extruded and die casting moulds.
